Html Line Breaks are different than most of the tags we have seen so far. A line break ends the line you are currently on and resumes on the next line. Placing
within the code is the same as pressing the return key in a word processor. Use the
tag within the
(paragraph) tag.
The HTML
element produces a line break in text (carriage-return). It is useful for writing a poem or an address, where the division of lines is significant. Must have a start tag, and must not have an end tag. In XHTML documents, write this element as
- Line Breaks attribute is used to break a paragraph and start with a new line.
- The
tag is used when we want to end a line, but it wouldn’t start a new paragraph.
- The
tag is an empty tag so it has no closing tag.
- we can use a horizontal rule
tag to draw a horizontal line.
